I chose to construct a steel-string acoustic guitar for myself because I am a guitarist and was interested in building an intricate project that involves a high amount of skill, both hand-cut and machine-assisted skills. This build will add a wonderful addition to my guitar ‘vault’, and perhaps an interesting story to share with family and friends.
