Charles Rowe

I have made a desk using a combination of solid and laminated timbers to create an interesting modern design. I used kerf-cutting and laminating techniques to bend the timber. As there was nothing square in the base it was very challenging to get the project straight. The curved drawer fronts were very challenging. The top is solid Tasmanian Blackwood. I am very pleased with the final result.
