My coffee table has Japanese-inspired lines and is made from Blackbutt. The half-lap joints between the legs and the laminated rails were very challenging, as they were both on a curve and at an angle. The top is solid, and the drawer is supported by a double-acting dovetail slide. I am very pleased with the final result.
