Art form: Collection of Works

Intertwining mediums of painting, photography, and hand embroidery, my Body of Work explores the theme of personal faith, through my journey and experience with religion in an exceedingly secular society. Inspired by traditional Islamic art, amalgamated with contemporary meaning, each stitch, stroke, and ‘snap’ exemplifies a personal journey that ignites a conversation with which adolescents may resonate.
