Reflecting upon the complex relationship between present and past, my body of work, 'Meg, the Magpie, Memory, and Me' captures the essence of reincarnation following my Nan's passing, the two magpies typifying the familial bond between grandmother and grandson. Nestled within the pairs interlocking gaze, my prints explore the significance of talismanic objects as a physical manifestation of memory and life.
