Edges of Home

My Body of Work is a visual exploration of the land where I am from: the wide, dry paddocks and open skies of rural Australia. Through this work, I reflect on my connection to place, memory and the quiet presence of working life at home. Using printmaking as my main medium, I have created a series of images that layer interior and exterior worlds, windows that frame vast landscapes, sheds half-open to the light and toolboxes that speak of use, function and repetition. These objects are symbols of a life shaped by land, labour and weather. By examining the spaces we often overlook, such as the corner of a shed or the view from a kitchen window, I invite the viewer to consider how landscape and labour shape our identity.
